The Honor X8e 4G ships with a 108MP main camera, according to a listing on Honor Azerbaijan.
The phone is an entry-level model that appears nearly identical to the Honor X7e Plus 4G introduced in August. Honor Azerbaijan posted the device and local retailers are already listing it: one retailer shows AZN 820, which the listing converts to about $480, while another lists the X8e at AZN 688. For context the Samsung Galaxy A08 4G is listed at AZN 590; Honor’s listed price applies to a 6/256GB configuration versus the Galaxy price for a 6/128GB model.
The X8e carries a high-resolution 108MP sensor unusual at this price point, but the chipset limits video recording to 1080p. Honor equips the phone with a Snapdragon 685, a 6nm chipset with Cortex-A73 and A53 CPU cores and an Adreno 610 GPU. The chipset provides only 4G connectivity and the phone accepts dual nano-SIM cards. Wireless features include Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 4.2 with LDAC, aptX HD and LHDC 5.0 support, and NFC. Honor lists MagicOS 10, based on Android 16, as the out-of-the-box software.

The display measures 6.87 inches and is an LCD panel with a 720 by 1,592 pixel resolution. Honor’s listing indicates the panel runs at 120Hz, reaches a peak brightness of 1,020 nits and uses a punch-hole for a 5MP selfie camera. The listing suggests this is the same LCD used on the X7e Plus.
Where the X8e differs from the X7e Plus is battery capacity: Honor lists a 7,700mAh cell with support for 45W Honor SuperCharge on the X8e, while the X7e Plus carried an 8,100mAh battery. Both devices share the same quoted thickness of 8.3mm and weight of 218g; the listing notes this parity and suggests the lower capacity on the X8e may be an artificial cap to comply with regulations in some markets.

Durability and extras
Honor’s listing highlights ruggedization: the X8e is rated IP68, IP69 and IP69K. Honor says the phone can operate in high-humidity, salt-rich environments, survive temperatures from -30°C to +50°C, detect touch input in the rain and includes a dedicated underwater photo mode. The company credits the device with a 5-star impact resistance rating from SGS after tests from 2.5 meter heights and describes the design life as at least six years. The X8e is offered in Sunrise Orange, Desert Gold and Velvet Black.
