A fresh batch of official-looking images has surfaced just a day before Samsung’s Unpacked event, and they zoom in on the wider take of the company’s latest foldable. Tipster Roland Quandt posted the renders on BlueSky, giving us a clearer look at what Samsung might unveil.

A closer look at the Fold8 Wide

The renders show three core finishes: Cream, Graphite, and Lavender. Industry whispers add a fourth shade, Pistachio, likely to be an online store exclusive. Color choices matter. They say as much about marketing as they do about design intent.

On the exterior, the cover display appears to be roughly 5.5 inches with a 16:10 aspect ratio and impressively slim, uniform bezels. The bottom edge reveals a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and microphone cutouts. Practical. Clean. No unnecessary flair.

Flip it open and the inner display reportedly measures 7.6 inches with a 4:3 aspect ratio. What’s new here is the hinge. Samsung’s Flex Titanium approach stacks a titanium alloy film with a flexible titanium plate. The result, according to Samsung, is reduced creasing and a tougher, more dependable fold. For anyone tired of the middle crease, that claim will be the headline.

Under the hood, the Fold8 Wide is said to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset and pack a 4,800 mAh battery. Camera specs circulating in the leaks point to a 50MP main shooter paired with a 50MP ultrawide unit. Two solid sensors. Expect reliable shots and wide-angle versatility.

Leaks are one thing. Real hands-on impressions are another. Still, these images and the technical hints around hinge construction and camera hardware make it clear Samsung is sharpening both the engineering and the aesthetics of its foldable lineup. Unpacked will either confirm the story or rewrite it. Either way, the Fold8 Wide is shaping up to be the model to watch.
