GTA VI Extended Look Lands on Netflix for a Limited Window

If you’ve been clutching your controller waiting for more, Rockstar just gave you a date to clear your schedule. On August 27 the studio will release an extended look at GTA VI — and Netflix gets first dibs.

How to catch the premiere (and what comes after)

The extended footage drops on Netflix at 3PM ET (12PM PT, 8PM London, 9PM CET, 12:30AM on August 28 in India). That Netflix window is exclusive for six hours. After that, the same video appears on YouTube and the official GTA VI site at 9PM ET (6PM PT, 2AM on August 28 in London, 3AM CET on August 28, 6:30AM on August 28 in India). Short and simple.

Why does this matter? Because Netflix can reach people who might otherwise miss a gaming livestream. It’s a cinematic first look rather than another trailer drop. Expect polished presentation, curated edits, and a bigger audience seeing the game together at once.

Rockstar also confirmed the game’s launch date: November 19. Pre-orders have been available since late June, but this extended look is the first chance for many players to get a long, uncut glimpse at what the studio has built.
