Hollyland used IFA 2026 to give visitors an early look at the LARK M3, a new wireless microphone system designed for more complex multi-person recording setups.

During our short booth demonstration, the company first showed the familiar LARK M2, one of its best-known compact wireless microphones, before moving to the upcoming LARK M3. The new model is aimed more clearly at interviews, podcasts, broadcasts and other situations where multiple people need to be recorded separately and reliably.

LARK M2 remains the compact reference point

The presentation began with the LARK M2, which Hollyland described as one of its best-selling wireless microphone systems.

Its transmitter uses a small button-style design and can be worn magnetically, making it easy to attach discreetly to clothing. Hollyland lists the transmitter at just 9 grams, which explains why the M2 has become popular with vloggers, interviewers and creators who want a microphone that is visually unobtrusive.

The LARK M2 supports 48kHz/24-bit audio and is available in versions for cameras and mobile devices.

But the main story at IFA was what comes next.

LARK M3 is built for more demanding productions

The LARK M3 takes the compact philosophy of Hollyland’s existing systems and adds features aimed at more professional workflows.

The representative highlighted support for 32-bit float recording, AI-powered noise reduction and independent recording tracks.

Hollyland has since confirmed that the LARK M3 supports 48kHz/32-bit float recording, although on Apple devices this requires a compatible third-party recording app rather than the standard iPhone camera or Voice Memos applications.

The system also includes three-level AI Noise Cancellation, Vocal Enhancement and customizable Vocal Presets.

Up to four transmitters can record four people separately

The biggest practical upgrade is support for larger recording setups.

The LARK M3 can work with up to four transmitters and four receivers, allowing four people to be recorded at the same time.

More importantly, the system supports four-track independent recording.

That means each microphone can remain on its own audio track rather than all four voices being mixed together into one recording.

For interviews and podcasts, this is a major advantage in post-production. If one guest speaks too quietly, another is too loud or background noise affects only one microphone, each track can be adjusted separately.

Different receiver combinations add flexibility

Hollyland also demonstrated different package configurations at the booth.

One setup paired two transmitters with receivers intended for both camera and smartphone use, allowing the same microphone system to work across different recording devices.

The LARK M3 platform itself is designed to support flexible combinations of transmitters and receivers within its four-transmitter, four-receiver limit. Hollyland’s support documentation confirms that camera and mobile receivers can be mixed within a multi-receiver setup.

That makes the system particularly interesting for small production teams that may need to capture the same audio across more than one device.

Four microphones make it particularly useful for interviews

At the booth, Hollyland specifically highlighted a four-microphone configuration for interviews and broadcasting.

That use case makes sense. A traditional two-transmitter wireless system is enough for a one-on-one interview, but panel discussions, group interviews and multi-person podcasts quickly require additional hardware.

With four transmitters in one system, the LARK M3 is designed to handle those situations without requiring several separate wireless kits.

Hollyland itself positions the system for podcasts, interviews, video conversations and other multi-person content production.

A compact system with a more professional target

The LARK M3 does not abandon the small form factor that helped make the LARK M2 popular.

Hollyland says each M3 transmitter weighs around 9 grams, while offering up to eight hours of operation and long-range wireless transmission.

What changes is the kind of production the system is designed to handle.

The LARK M2 remains a simple and lightweight option for creators recording one or two people. The LARK M3 moves further toward interviews, podcasts and small professional productions where separate audio tracks and more microphones can save significant time later in the editing process.

LARK M3 arrives later in September

During our IFA demonstration, Hollyland told us that the LARK M3 would reach the market toward the end of September.

The company has now confirmed a September 22, 2026 launch date.

For creators who frequently record several people at once, the combination of four transmitters, four independent tracks and 32-bit float support makes the LARK M3 one of the more practical audio upgrades Hollyland showed at IFA 2026.

Sounds cool but 32-bit float on iPhone needs a third party app? big limitation, imo. How stable is the 4-rec sync in crowded RF zones tho??

Whoa, 4 separate tracks and 32-bit float in such tiny packs? Hollyland actually nailed that. If batteries last it's a podcast war-changer... gonna wait reviews tho
