iQOO Z11i Arrives with Huge 6,500mAh Battery and 5G

Phones that boast marathon battery life are common. Phones that actually deliver it? Not so much. The new iQOO Z11i makes a clean, simple promise: keep going. And with a 6,500mAh cell under the hood, it looks like a phone meant for people who forget chargers on purpose.

Battery for days, with some trade-offs

The headline feature is obvious. A 6,500mAh battery paired with just 15W wired charging means you won’t be topping up five times a day. Expect long stretches between charges. But if you like blisteringly fast refills, this is not the phone to chase records. It’s built for endurance rather than sprint charging.

The display is a 6.74-inch LCD that runs at 120Hz and sticks to an HD+ resolution. Small pixel counts aside, the panel can push brightness to around 1,200 nits in its high-brightness mode, which helps in direct sunlight. The chipset is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, a modest midrange SoC that keeps things efficient rather than cutting-edge. Combined with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the Z11i aims to balance cost and everyday performance. There’s also a microSD slot if you need extra room for media.

Software comes straight from vivo: Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box. That means a heavy customization layer, more options than stock Android, and features that favor usability and battery management over raw speed.

It’s already on sale in China with these price points converted to euros: the 6GB/128GB model is about €169, the 8GB/128GB variant is around €195, and the 8GB/256GB option costs roughly €221. That positions the phone as an affordable, battery-first choice in the crowded budget 5G segment.

So who is this for? If you value days of battery and a straightforward, functional phone over flagship speed and camera versatility, the Z11i is worth a look. If you demand the fastest charging and the highest-resolution displays, you’ll find compromises here.
