Picture a phone that outlasts your weekend away and then charges your headphones on the way back. OnePlus has quietly launched the N6 in India, and its headline is hard to ignore: an 8,000mAh battery that turns the handset into a pocket powerbank.

There’s engineering behind the bravado. The N6 supports 45W SuperVOOC wired charging alongside 5W reverse wired charging, so you can top up other devices directly. OnePlus also added bypass charging, which routes power straight to the motherboard during heavy use. The result is less heat stress on the cells and smoother performance when you’re gaming or running demanding apps.

OnePlus claims the battery will survive more than 1,600 full charge cycles and retain over 80% capacity even after seven years. That’s the kind of longevity promise that changes how you think about device replacement cycles.

Under the hood sits MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Max, paired with either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you need more room, a microSD slot is on board. The display is a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak local brightness rated at 1,200 nits. Selfies live in an 8MP punch-hole camera up front, while the rear camera system centers on a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture.

Software-wise, the N6 runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16. OnePlus guarantees two major Android upgrades plus three years of security patches — not the longest update runway in the market, but a clear commitment for a device in this segment.

The phone arrives in Fresh Mint and Midnight Green. Pricing in Europe-equivalent terms starts at around €213 for the 4GB/128GB model and about €232 for the 6GB/128GB trim. Open sales in India begin on July 4 through OnePlus India and Amazon India.
