EZVIZ at IFA 2026: Dual-Lens Security Cameras, Full-Color Night Vision and a Pet Companion Robot

EZVIZ showcased dual-lens security cameras, ColorFULL low-light imaging, 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, local AI and a mobile pet companion robot at IFA 2026.

EZVIZ used IFA 2026 to showcase a broad range of smart-home security products, with a strong focus on dual-lens outdoor cameras, flexible connectivity, low-light imaging and AI-powered monitoring.

During our visit to the booth, the company demonstrated several products designed for different use cases, from road trips and large outdoor areas to pet monitoring and smarter local AI processing. The common theme was clear: EZVIZ is trying to make security cameras more versatile, more autonomous and less dependent on a single connection type or a single lens.

Dual-lens cameras combine wide coverage with closer detail

One of the products shown to us used two lenses with different focal lengths, designed to provide both a broad view and a more detailed close-up image.

The representative described the setup as combining a 2.8mm wide-angle lens with a longer telephoto lens to enable an 8x mixed zoom experience. The goal is to let users retain the wider context while also zooming in on details that matter.

EZVIZ already uses this dual-lens concept in several products. The company’s C8PF, for example, combines two lenses to provide picture-in-picture viewing and up to 8x mixed zoom.

The specific booth model we were shown also included both 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, making it more flexible for locations where Wi-Fi may be unreliable or unavailable.

That approach is consistent with products such as the H9c Dual 4G, which can automatically switch between Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity.

For mobile or temporary installations, that kind of dual-network support could be particularly useful.

Another dual-lens model targets ultra-wide outdoor coverage

EZVIZ also demonstrated a second dual-lens camera designed around a much wider field of view.

According to the booth presentation, the two lenses work together to provide approximately 180 degrees of coverage, making the camera suitable for larger open areas such as backyards, gardens or farms.

The company positioned this type of camera as an alternative to installing multiple individual cameras when the primary goal is broad situational awareness.

Both outdoor cameras shown to us were described as weather-resistant.

The representative also explained that kit versions can include mounting hardware and a 3W solar panel, allowing the camera to operate in locations where conventional power installation may be inconvenient.

ColorFULL technology aims to preserve color without spotlights

Low-light imaging was another major part of EZVIZ’s presentation.

The company showed a camera using its ColorFULL night-vision technology, designed to maintain full-color video even in very dark conditions without relying on a bright visible spotlight.

The hardware includes an F1.0 aperture, which allows more light to reach the sensor, together with a relatively large image sensor.

EZVIZ then combines that hardware with its own image-processing and noise-reduction technology.

This description matches the company’s current ColorFULL implementation in products such as the H8x 2K+ and H80x Dual. Both use an F1.0 aperture and advanced image processing to capture color footage in extremely low-light conditions without requiring constant external illumination.

During the booth explanation, EZVIZ emphasized that the objective is not simply brighter footage, but more natural color reproduction in dark scenes.

A pet robot that follows animals around the home

One of the more unusual products at the booth was a mobile pet companion robot.

Unlike a stationary indoor camera, the device is designed to move around the home and actively find pets.

The representative emphasized its stability, explaining that the robot is intended to remain upright even when interacting with larger or more energetic dogs.

Its wheels are removable and can be rinsed with fresh water, making them easier to clean after moving around the house.

Cats get their own interactive attachment

EZVIZ also showed an optional feather attachment designed specifically for cats.

According to the booth demonstration, the accessory can use movement, light and sound effects to attract the animal and encourage interaction.

That changes the device from a passive monitoring camera into something closer to a remote companion.

When the owner is away, the robot can patrol the home independently.

The representative said the system can use pet-recognition algorithms to locate an animal, follow it and send notifications back to the owner.

EZVIZ already uses local AI-based pet detection across parts of its camera portfolio, although its existing systems generally detect common cat- and dog-like shapes rather than identifying individual animals.

The exact model name and full specifications of the pet robot were not provided during our booth presentation, so we are intentionally not attaching additional technical claims to it.

Matter support expands smart-home integration

EZVIZ also highlighted wider smart-home interoperability.

One product demonstrated at the booth supports the Matter protocol, allowing it to interact with compatible smart-home ecosystems.

The representative specifically mentioned Samsung’s ecosystem as an example of how EZVIZ devices can be controlled through another smart-home platform.

The broader significance here is interoperability: instead of requiring users to manage every device exclusively through the EZVIZ app, Matter-compatible products can become part of a larger connected-home setup.

Local AI reduces dependence on cloud processing

The final technology highlighted during our tour was local AI processing.

The representative showed a product capable of recognizing more than 100 object categories locally, meaning the analysis takes place on the device rather than requiring every event to be processed in the cloud.

EZVIZ already uses local AI chips for several detection functions across its current portfolio, including human, vehicle and pet detection.

For smart-home security, local processing can potentially improve responsiveness while also reducing the amount of data that needs to leave the home.

The representative did not provide the exact model name or the complete list of the claimed 100-plus object categories during our demonstration, so we have left that claim attributed to the booth presentation rather than presenting it as an independently verified specification.

EZVIZ is pushing beyond conventional security cameras

The most interesting part of EZVIZ’s IFA 2026 showcase was the variety of approaches the company is taking to the same basic problem: understanding what is happening around the home.

Dual-lens cameras provide both context and detail. 4G connectivity allows security systems to operate beyond reliable Wi-Fi coverage. ColorFULL technology targets better night-time visibility without constantly illuminating the scene.

At the same time, products such as the pet companion robot show EZVIZ moving beyond fixed surveillance cameras and toward more interactive smart-home devices.

The booth also made another trend clear: the next generation of home-security products is becoming increasingly local and intelligent, with more processing happening on the device itself and more interoperability through standards such as Matter.

For EZVIZ, IFA 2026 was therefore less about one single hero camera and more about building a broader ecosystem of connected, mobile and AI-assisted devices around the home.
