Flipkart has quietly published a microsite for the Galaxy F70 5G, confirming an India launch on October 18 and a starting price shown as INR 1X,XXX, which places the phone below INR 20,000 (about $225). The listing follows Samsung's earlier F-series rollouts this year — the Galaxy F70e in February and the Galaxy F70 Pro in August — and comes after the vanilla Galaxy F70 appeared in Google’s device database last week.
The Galaxy F70 5G will arrive in India on October 18, priced below INR 20,000.
Flipkart’s page lists the core hardware: an FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, an Exynos 1330 chipset, and a camera array led by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization Samsung labels the "No Shake Cam". The rear setup also includes a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens, while a 13MP sensor handles selfies. Power comes from a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging. Samsung rates the device at 7.5mm thick and describes it as dust and splash resistant, and Flipkart shows two finishes: Vivid Violet and Bold Black.
On software, the F70 5G is listed with features such as Circle to Search, Google Gemini, Samsung Wallet with Tap and Pay, Quick Share, Voice Focus, and Knox security. The listing also reiterates Samsung’s positioning of the F series as a product designed and made in India.
Signs point to a rebrand of the A17 5G
The device details on Flipkart match an earlier model-number hint and the specifications of the Galaxy A17 5G almost exactly. That includes the 7.5mm thickness and camera layout, and suggests the F70 5G is a rebranded Galaxy A17 5G, much like the F70e was a rebranded Galaxy A07 5G. If that is the case, expect a 6.7-inch 1080 by 2340 screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, configurations up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and Samsung’s stated promise of six major Android updates.
Samsung also points out that the F series is designed and made in India.
