A source told Samsung Android Rumors on 16 October 2026 that the Samsung Galaxy A38 will include a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro and a 12MP selfie camera.
The source said these resolutions match the Galaxy A37 launched earlier in 2026 but did not confirm whether Samsung will use larger or newer sensors.
The same source previously said the Galaxy A58, expected in March or April, will feature the same camera resolutions as the Galaxy A57.

The source added that, because camera resolutions are expected to remain the same, Samsung may target upgrades in other areas such as the processor or battery.
For reference, the Galaxy A37 shipped with the Exynos 1480 SoC, a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support, a 6.7 inch 120Hz FullHD+ Super AMOLED display and an IP68 ingress protection rating.
The source did not specify sensor sizes or the Galaxy A38's launch timing.
