Apple is inviting select media to an all-day product launch experience on October 28 in Los Angeles, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports.

Gurman says the event will cover Apple's touchscreen MacBooks, an OLED iPad mini, and new M6-powered machines: a 14-inch MacBook Pro and an iMac.

Timing and previous reporting

Last week Gurman reported that Apple was planning a second October launch following its smart home event. He previously said the launch would happen on October 27, which leaves open the possibility that Apple could announce the products on October 27 and offer press hands-on access on October 28; that scenario is speculative.

These details come via Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, who provided the date and lineup in his latest reporting.
