Google has quietly started offering hardware through the Play Store in some regions, adding a "Shop devices" tab to the account switcher.
The move is notable because the listings include not only Google's Pixel family but also select Samsung hardware. Shoppers can find the Galaxy S26 lineup and some Galaxy Watch8 devices alongside Pixel 11 series phones and Pixel Watches.
We checked, and the "hardware store" section in the Play Store has not opened broadly. Other regions do not currently see the Samsung listings, though Pixel devices are appearing in more places.

Availability and pricing
At present the devices are listed at their standard retail prices. There are no visible discounts, so the Play Store appears to be another sales channel rather than a price-competitive alternative to the official Google Store.
Listed devices carry their regular price tags; no discounts were visible.
It is unclear why Samsung hardware is the only third-party brand present. That could reflect closer ties between the two companies, or simply that Samsung is the first partner willing to make its phones and watches available through this channel. Whether other manufacturers will follow remains to be seen.
For now, Pixel models are appearing more widely, while Galaxy listings remain limited to certain regions.
