TCL-Backed 360Hz 1440p Mini LED Gaming Monitor Debuts

Imagine tearing through an eSports match with every frame feeling razor-sharp. That is the promise behind Thunderobot’s new 25Q6A Pro, a 24.5-inch gaming monitor built around a 1440p Mini LED panel and a staggering 360Hz refresh rate. It arrives in China on July 31 priced at about €214, with an early subsidized launch expected near €169.

Why the panel matters

This isn’t just another high-refresh display. The panel is a Fast IPS unit made under TCL’s FFALCON umbrella, giving you the responsiveness gamers demand: 2560 by 1440 resolution, 16:9 framing, and a quoted 1ms gray-to-gray response. Short frametimes. Crisp motion. Little blur.

What sets the 25Q6A Pro apart is its Mini LED backlight. There are 180 local dimming zones, which help crush bloom and deepen blacks where the image needs it. Thunderobot rates the dynamic contrast at an eye-catching 1,000,000 to 1, while static contrast stays around 1000 to 1. The panel peaks at 800 nits and carries DisplayHDR 600 certification, so highlights pop without washing out shadow detail.

Color is solid for the price. Thunderobot claims 95 percent DCI-P3 coverage and 99 percent sRGB, with factory calibration keeping ΔE under 2. Variable refresh support is baked in too, via AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, which helps keep screen tearing in check whether you game on AMD or Nvidia hardware.

Physically the monitor is no drama. It measures 556 by 226 by 501 millimeters with the stand, and weighs 5.3 kilograms on the desk or 3.3 without. The included grey stand offers height adjustment and rotation, and there’s a 100 by 100 millimeter VESA mount for arms or wall brackets.

Ports are modern and practical: HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a standard audio output jack. There are no built-in speakers, and the display runs off a 65 watt external power brick. For comfort, Thunderobot includes DC dimming to avoid flicker and a hardware-level low-blue-light mode for longer sessions.

At roughly €214 retail, the 25Q6A Pro targets competitive players who have been priced out of true high-refresh 1440p options until now. If the early subsidized price of around €169 materializes, this becomes one of the more compelling value plays in the market.

Other brands are pushing the same envelope. Lenovo recently introduced an affordable 27-inch 280Hz monitor, and Philips has trimmed costs on a 27-inch 2K display reaching 425Hz. The arms race is heating up, and Mini LED at this price point just added another twist.
