Ford has removed the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 from the 2027 Bronco in the U.S. and added a 380-hp tune of the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 to multiple trim levels.
The dealer order guide lists the 380-hp 3.0 as optional on Outer Banks, Heritage, and four-door Badlands and standard on the new Filson grade. Ford has also discontinued the Stroppe Edition.

Compared with the outgoing 2.7, the new midrange 3.0 tune adds about 50 horsepower and 25 pound-feet (34 Newton-meters) of torque.
Slotting below the Raptor's punchier engine, the 3.0 introduced for 2027 produces 440 pound-feet (597 Newton-meters) of torque.

Whether the 3.0 is similarly efficient or a bit thirstier than the 2.7 will await EPA fuel-economy figures.
The 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder remains standard on Base and Big Bend models, with a manual available; Broncos with automatics use a 10-speed transmission.
The Filson grade receives the 3.0 as standard and a more tailored cabin with leather and vinyl upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, power adjustment, and unique trim. Four-door Filson models add 35-inch tires and power running boards, and are offered in Iron Sands and Field Green.

Ford plans to deliver the Filson and the RTR to dealers in early 2027.
The RTR pairs the 2.3 with an anti-lag system, upgraded cooling, and the 10-speed automatic instead of the 7-speed manual. Its wide-track HOSS 1.0 suspension provides a lift and runs 33-inch tires on beadlock-capable wheels.
An RTR Sasquatch package adds 35-inch tires, HOSS 3.0 suspension with Fox components, and a heavy-duty modular front bumper for a desert-focused setup. Pricing has not been finalized, but the RTR is expected to cost more than $50,000.

A heated steering wheel joins the Big Bend Mid Package, and a 5G modem replaces the prior 4G system as standard equipment across the lineup. Neptune Blue replaces Velocity Blue as a paint option.
Outer Banks Lux replaces leather with premium vinyl, and Outer Banks Mid moves to cloth and loses power front seats. Badlands gains Marine Grade Vinyl and offers a power-adjustable upholstery option on four-door models.

The Big Bend Mid Package drops dual smart-charging USB ports and remote start, and similar USB and remote-start deletions affect other packages. LED signature headlamps and LED taillamps are no longer standard on Outer Banks and Badlands, and B&O audio included with some Lux packages falls from 12 to 10 speakers; a 12-speaker B&O system remains available separately.
EPA fuel-economy figures for the 3.0 will be published in due course.
