Lexus has removed the TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid from the 2027 TX lineup and applied a series of modest updates across the remaining gasoline and hybrid models. The changes include wheel and brake-system tweaks, a slight front-fascia revision, new color availability on select trims, and minor interior additions.
Lineup and powertrains
The 2027 TX continues on the GA-K platform introduced three years ago and is offered in standard and F Sport configurations. The range is available with two powertrains: the TX 350 gasoline setup and the TX 500h hybrid. Lexus removed the TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid for the 2027 model year; the company has not provided a reason for its absence.

The TX 350 uses a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four rated at 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. That engine is paired with a close-ratio eight-speed direct-shift automatic transmission and can be configured with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, depending on trim.
The TX 500h hybrid is available only on the F Sport Performance grades in all-wheel drive. Its powertrain pairs a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and a six-speed automatic transmission with an integrated power control unit, a 64-kW electric motor, and a 76-kW eAxle at the rear. Lexus rates the TX 500h combination at 366 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid system uses a nickel-metal hydride battery mounted beneath the second-row seats.

Chassis, styling and mechanical updates
Lexus describes the 2027 TX updates as minor. The TX retains a MacPherson-strut front suspension and a five-arm multi-link rear suspension. Rack assist electric power steering is standard; dynamic rear steering is carried over on F Sport Performance models.
For the TX 350, Lexus revised the vacuum brake booster and the brake hold function. The 20-inch aluminum wheels receive a darker gray finish. Lexus also extended Matador Red Mica to non-F Sport trims.

Exterior changes are limited to a modest front-fascia modification intended to manage airflow and provide additional brake cooling capacity. The 2027 TX is offered in seven exterior colors familiar to the range, with wheel options spanning 20 to 22 inches depending on trim.
Interior, equipment, production and pricing
The interior layout and primary features are unchanged. Every TX retains a 12.3-inch multi-information display behind the steering wheel and a 14-inch central touchscreen. Rear seating is available with captain's chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench, and a third row is accessed via a walk-in mechanism. Lexus added six modular cupholders for configurations with captain's chairs; four cupholders are fitted when the bench is selected. Interior color choices are Peppercorn, Birch, and Black, with Blackwood ash trim available across the range.

The TX will continue to be assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana. Lexus lists the 2027 TX starting price at $58,890, which includes delivery, processing, and handling. The manufacturer-suggested retail prices for the announced models are:
