Audi has confirmed the fifth-generation A6 Allroad will reach Australia in October, with local pricing starting at AU$127,900 for the A6 Allroad quattro e-hybrid and AU$137,900 for the A6 Allroad TDI quattro. The model arrives redesigned alongside the new A6 sedan and Avant but positions itself as the more adventurous option with standard quattro all-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering across the range.

The dealership rollout follows a busy run of Australian introductions from Audi this year, including the refined Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron models in September, the updated Q4 e-tron family in August and the all-new Q9 revealed in July. Audi Australia has published the specification and pricing for the Allroad, describing it as the most comprehensively equipped A6 Allroad to date.
Powertrains and equipment
The plug-in hybrid pairs a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 270 kW and 500 Nm (362 hp and 369 lb-ft). It carries a 25.9 kWh battery that Audi says enables an electric driving range of up to 87 km (54 miles); charging is limited to AC only. The e-hybrid is visually differentiated by 21-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels and red brake calipers.

The diesel option uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged TDI delivering 220 kW and 580 Nm (295 hp and 428 lb-ft) and features Audi's latest mild hybrid plus technology. Standard equipment across the Allroad line includes Matrix LED headlights and LED rear lights; the optional Premium package upgrades to digital Matrix LED headlights with micro-LED technology and digital OLED rear lights.
Comfort and convenience items listed for the Australian market include adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering, S line interior trim, electrically adjustable front seats, a panoramic glass roof with switchable transparency and an optional customised contour seats package. The technology stack features an 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus, a 14.5-inch OLED MMI touch display, a standard 10.9-inch MMI front passenger display, Audi connect plus, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an available Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System with 16 speakers and 685 watts output.
"The Audi A6 Allroad has always occupied a distinctive position in our portfolio, combining the practicality of an Avant with the confidence and capability of quattro all-wheel drive," said Peter Strudwicke, Audi Australia Product Manager for the A6 Allroad. "This new generation takes that formula further, with a more striking, purposeful design, an exceptional level of standard equipment, and a sophisticated chassis that makes the A6 Allroad equally suited to everyday driving and longer journeys across Australia."
