Cadillac has introduced the Escalade-V Checo Perez Edition, a strictly limited run of 11 Escalade-V SUVs built for Mexico and unveiled with Sergio "Checo" Perez at the residence of the United States ambassador in Mexico.
Production run and unveiling
The edition is limited to 11 examples, a reference to Perez's racing number. Cadillac presented the special edition earlier this week at the U.S. ambassador's residence in Mexico, with Perez attending the debut. Cadillac said Perez was personally involved in the project from the design phase through the official unveiling. GM Mexico executive Paco Garza commented, "Cadillac and Checo Perez share a passion for innovation, precision, and the constant pursuit of excellence. This edition celebrates more than 20 years of the V-Series legacy and recognizes the career of Checo - an icon of Mexican motorsport who has inspired millions of people, both on and off the track. The result is a truly exclusive offering for our customers, in which luxury, performance, and Mexican pride converge in a unique SUV."

Exterior and interior features
Each Escalade-V Checo Perez Edition carries two individually numbered plaques: one on the B-pillar and one on the center console, both marked 1/11 through 11/11 and bearing Perez's signature. Buyers may choose black or white exterior finishes paired with contrasting black or white interiors, a look the automaker likens to Perez's Formula 1 livery.
- Monochromatic Cadillac emblems front and rear
- Black Escalade and V-Series badges
- Sports pedals and visible carbon-fiber V-Series engine cover
- Mirror-mounted projectors that cast V-Series graphics onto the ground

Powertrain and availability
The Checo Perez Edition retains the Escalade-V's stock powertrain: a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque. Cadillac confirmed there are no mechanical changes to the engine for this special edition. All 11 units are allocated to the Mexican market.
"Mexico has always been with me in every race," said Cadillac F1 Team driver Sergio Perez. "That's why knowing that this special edition exists to celebrate that history makes me incredibly excited. I hope that the customers who own one of these 11 units enjoy them just as much as I enjoyed being part of this project - a project I was involved in from the design phase all the way to the unveiling of this special edition."
