Inside the rumor mill, tipster Ice Universe has been painting a conservative portrait. The Galaxy S27 Ultra, they say, looks set to carry over much of the S26 Ultra’s physical DNA. Same overall dimensions. Same presence in the hand. Design tweaks exist, but they feel evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

What actually changes — and what stays

The headline tweak is a new rear camera layout. The leaked images and the tipster’s notes point to a reorganized module on the back, but not a complete redesign. Think of it as rearranging the furniture instead of gutting the room.

Important practical features are expected to remain. The S Pen slot will reportedly stay in its familiar bottom-left position. The speaker grille for the Ultra family is also said to sit on the bottom-left edge. Confusion from a prior leak about two Ultra sizes has been addressed by the same source. The smaller handset that surfaced earlier likely isn’t a compact Ultra after all. Ice Universe suggests that the device in question is the rumored S27 Pro, which borrows the Ultra’s new camera arrangement but does not include the S Pen. In short: two visually similar models, different intended roles.

Camera watchers will want to know this: the S27 Ultra is expected to stick with a triple-rear camera setup. No dramatic multiplication of sensors, but Samsung appears focused on refinement rather than adding more eyes to the back.

One user-facing feature carried forward, if the leaks are accurate, is the Privacy display that debuted on the S26 Ultra. Both the Ultra and Pro are believed to offer this option, a nod to buyers who want extra screen privacy in crowded places.
