Imagine squeezing a cheeky, turbo‑inspired city hatch into a modern electric drivetrain and giving it a futuristic paint job. That’s the Super-N in a nutshell: small in stature, loud in personality.

How big a car can you get from something that barely fills a parking bay?

Honda has opened orders for the 2026 Super-N in the UK. The price starts at €22,035 and the car arrives with a clear brief — be nimble in the city, playful on short trips, and unmistakable wherever it goes. Its silhouette nods to the classic City Turbo II, a wink at motorsport cheekiness, but underneath is pure zero-emission hardware.

The Super-N measures 3,599 mm long and 1,573 mm wide. Tight dimensions, yes, but Honda says the interior punches above its weight. The rear seats fold in multiple configurations thanks to Honda’s Magic Seats idea, turning 162 liters of luggage space into 967 liters when you need to haul larger items. For the A-segment, that’s generous real-world practicality.

Power comes from a 47 kW e‑Axle that can surge to 70 kW in Boost Mode, delivering about 94 horsepower. Sprint times are modest but credible: 0 to 100 kph in 10.0 seconds with Boost engaged, or 14.5 seconds in normal mode. Don’t expect blast-off supercar acceleration. Expect city-ready bite and a fun shove when you ask for it.

  • Battery: 20.6 kWh lithium-ion
  • WLTP combined range: 206 km (128 miles)
  • WLTP urban claim: up to 320 km (199 miles)
  • Weight: 1,097 kg
  • Charging: 50 kW DC to 80% in about 30 minutes

Inside, Honda leans into character. Bolstered front seats. Blue ambient lighting that flips to purple when Boost Mode is active. Blue trim cues that reference the City Turbo II, a standard Bose sound system, and both wired and wireless phone integration give the cabin a modern, youthful feel. Outside, colors range from sober to theatrical, including a Boost Violet inspired by a lightning bolt, and optional two-tone finishes with a glossy black roof.

So who is this for? Urban drivers who want an EV that’s practical without feeling anonymous. People who value style and clever packaging over long-distance range. Buyers looking to replace a small petrol city car with something quieter, cheaper to run, and a little more spirited.

There are compromises. The battery is small compared with mainstream EVs, so long motorway runs aren’t its strength. But for daily commutes, school runs, and weekend market trips, the Super-N is designed to be efficient, easy to park, and — importantly — fun.

Honda’s gamble is clear: package smart engineering into a tiny, characterful EV and let personality sell the car. If you live in town and crave a compact that stands out, the Super-N might be the antidote to beige urban transport.

20.6 kWh battery? serious question, is that future proof. 30min to 80% ok, but motorway runs will kill it. Cute tho, still.

Wow didnt expect a cheeky EV to be this playful. Tiny but actually practical, love the Boost Violet. 200km ok for city, price feels a bit spicy tho, curious about real world range
