Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Heated Posture Cushion, a heated ergonomic seat pad that the company says is designed to help improve sitting posture while providing mild warmth. The product debuts with an early-buyer price of 179 yuan (about $27).

Product overview and core features

The Mijia Heated Posture Cushion is positioned as a health accessory for work or study. Its ergonomic pad supports the lower back, hips and legs by following the bodys natural curvature. Xiaomi describes the device as intended to both encourage better posture and offer gentle heating during prolonged sitting.

  • Three selectable heating levels
  • Long-sitting reminder via an infrared sensor
  • Wireless or wired operation for use on sofas and office chairs

Heating control and sitting reminders

Temperature regulation uses NTC sensors for precise, real-time control across the three heating levels. An integrated infrared sensor records how long the user remains seated and issues timely alerts to prompt posture changes and movement, according to Xiaomi.

Construction, durability and power options

The cushion shell is made from a single-piece, high-durability nylon designed to resist bending. The interior is filled with rebound memory foam that Xiaomi says completed a 50,000-cycle pressure endurance test. Two ventilation holes on the cushion base are included to help prevent excessive heat buildup.

Users can operate the cushion wirelessly or connect it to a power cable, which Xiaomi says makes it convenient to use on both sofas and office chairs without constant dependence on a nearby outlet.
