Galaxy S27 leak shows Pro and Ultra full-width camera

Leaked case images reported on 19 October 2026 by Michail and sourced to IceUniverse show the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra with wide rectangular camera housings. Reports say both Pro and Ultra will use 200MP main sensors and 50MP ultrawide lenses.

A fresh set of leaked case images published via leaker IceUniverse and reported on 19 October 2026 by Michail suggests Samsung will adopt a markedly different rear design for the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra. The leak covers all four expected S27 models and reiterates that the Pro and Ultra will use a wide rectangular camera housing that spans nearly the device width, while the regular S27 and S27+ will retain the vertical camera cutout used by their predecessors.

Design and camera hardware

The leaked cases make the visual distinction clear: the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra appear to be built around a large, almost full-width rectangular camera aperture, likely to accommodate multiple large sensors and lenses. By contrast, the Galaxy S27 and S27+ show the same vertical camera opening seen on recent Samsung flagships, indicating a continuity of design for the more affordable entries in the line.

On optics, the report aligns with earlier rumors that both the Pro and Ultra models will feature 200MP main sensors, reportedly Samsung's ISOCELL HP6 (a high-resolution image sensor), paired with 50MP ultrawide lenses. The S27 Ultra is said to keep the same 50MP 5x telephoto module found on the S26 Ultra, while the S27 Pro may ship with a 12MP 3x telephoto camera rather than the higher-resolution 5x module.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S27 series in the first quarter of 2027, with a launch window between mid-January and late February.
