A leak from tipster Digital Chat Station, reported by Siddharth on 19 October 2026, indicates vivo plans to launch the X500 Ultra in China between March and April 2027. The same report supplies a set of hardware details that align with a flagship push.

The leak names Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 as the phone's chipset and points to a large BOE-supplied 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is described as flat, with slim, uniform bezels on all sides and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Battery capacity is said to be around 7,000mAh. Beyond that, details are thin. The tipster did not lay out a full camera specification in this report.

In a related note from July, the same source said vivo was choosing between three 200MP sensors for the phone's telephoto camera. That earlier claim remains the clearest hint about the X500 Ultra's imaging ambitions.
