A set of CGI renderings circulated online in late October 2026 reimagines the Alfa Romeo 4C with extensive visual changes, but the images are artistic work rather than a preview of a production 2027 model. The renderings were posted on Instagram by the designer @a.c.g_design, who describes the project as "renewed" and a "custom design." Alfa Romeo does not have a direct successor to the 4C in the works, to our knowledge.

What the renderings show
The digital makeover alters the 4C front to rear. Up front the CGI car shows revised headlight graphics, a tweaked hood with vents, a smaller central grille still topped by the Alfa Romeo badge, and a reshaped bumper with a new central section, revised vent surrounds, trim above the intakes, and a double splitter with side blades. Side treatments include new double-styled side skirts, enlarged rear air vents behind the doors, reworked front fender trim bearing four-leaf clover badges, and mirror housings that differ from the production car. The wheels follow Alfa Romeo styling cues but on a bolder scale, and several exterior components are rendered with a forged carbon appearance.

The rear of the imagined 4C features new taillight graphics, a large diffuser with additional brake lights mounted on the diffuser fins, a substantial wing on the rear deck, and four round exhaust tips grouped in the centre of the diffuser. The example shown in the gallery wears a green paint finish, silver wheels that contrast red brake calipers, and multiple forged carbon-look trim pieces. The designer posted the images to social media and characterises the project as a custom renewal rather than an official Alfa Romeo design exercise.

Production context and the real 4C's specifications
While the renderings propose a tuned, highly stylised version of the 4C, the production Alfa Romeo 4C was manufactured for a limited period and remains unchanged by these images. The Coupe was assembled from 2013 to 2019 and the Spider from 2015 to 2020 at Alfa Romeo's Modena factory in Italy. The production car used a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and measured 157 inches (3,989 mm) long, 82.3 inches (2,090 mm) wide, and 46.6 inches (1,183 mm) tall, with a 93.7-inch (2,380 mm) wheelbase.

The engine sat behind the passenger compartment and was paired with a six-speed dual dry clutch transmission. Official output was 237 brake horsepower (240 PS, 177 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. Torque peak was specified between 2,100 and 3,750 rpm, with maximum power at 6,000 rpm. Alfa Romeo listed a 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph (257 kph).
On the used market today, a 4C typically trades for more than $40,000 up to roughly $75,000, depending on condition and specification. The recent renderings are an interpretation by a digital artist and do not reflect an announced or confirmed production update from Alfa Romeo.

wow, that green 4C renders insane! Love the aggressive wing and forged carbon bits, but feels a tad overdone. If Alfa made this i'd buy in a second... or at least dream about it lol
