Instagram designer @a.c.g_design published a digital rendering that updates a Lamborghini Gallardo with Y-shaped daytime running lights and extensive body modifications borrowing cues from the Revuelto and the Temerario.

The image is a digital rendering, not a production vehicle.

The front end shows new Y-spoke DRLs inspired by the Revuelto and new LED headlights, plus a redesigned hood, front bumper and splitter.

Side and rear changes include sharper side skirts, a larger rear wing and a substantially bigger diffuser, plus taillight graphics said to be inspired by the Temerario, additional brake lights and three exhaust tips.

The rendered car wears a dark blue finish with black accents, concave aftermarket Y-spoke wheels and yellow elements visible behind the wheels. Italian-flag detailing appears on some panels and Superleggera lettering runs along the lower door sills, indicating the model used as the base for the rendering.

The Gallardo was produced from 2003 to 2013, with an estimated total of more than 14,000 units. Early Gallardos used a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10; a 5.2-liter unit arrived with the mid-cycle refresh.

Standard output for the Gallardo was 523 horsepower (530 ps/390 kW) with peak power at 8,000 rpm. The Superleggera Edizione Tecnica variant produced 562 hp (570 ps/419 kW) and Lamborghini quoted 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 3.8 seconds.

The Gallardo was offered with a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automated manual. Market prices for road-going examples range from just under $100,000 to almost $200,000 for basic models, with manual cars typically over $200,000 and certain limited editions trading close to $500,000.

The Revuelto, which replaced the Aventador as Lamborghini's flagship, is the styling reference for the Y-DRLs; the Revuelto is more than three years old and has recently been joined by a Revuelto SV variant.

The rendering remains a virtual exercise by @a.c.g_design and does not represent an announced or planned Lamborghini product.
