Visionox, the display panel maker, has posted on Weibo that Honor's upcoming Win2 series will use the world's first 2K 185Hz display across all three models. The claim arrives as Honor continues teasing the Win2, the Win2 RT and the Win2 Turbo ahead of a launch expected next week.
The Win2 family is already shaping up as a showcase of large batteries and active cooling. Honor has said the standard Win2 will pack a 10,100 mAh battery while the Win2 RT will run on a larger 12,070 mAh cell. The series is positioned as gaming oriented and will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC.

Panel and input details
According to Visionox, the panel combines high resolution and refresh rate without compromise. The company says the display supports a 5,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and a 520Hz reporting rate for ten-finger touch. Bezels measure 0.93 mm on all four sides, and the panel uses 5,920Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain during extended gaming sessions.
Visionox added that most manufacturers trade resolution for refresh rate, and that the firm worked closely with Honor to avoid that compromise. The claim comes from the Weibo post and reflects Visionox's account of the collaboration.
Even with those specifications on paper, practical limits remain. So far, we've tested numerous devices with refresh rates higher than 120Hz, but none of them could actually deliver outside of select gaming titles.
